Our jazz band performs in a variety of different formations to suit the atmosphere of each event. The 'core' trio of piano, bass and drums can be expanded with vocals, saxophone or trumpet to meet the requirements of your event. Here are just a few suggestions:

Background music during dinner:
A trio (piano, bass, saxophone) creates an authentic lounge jazz sound, the perfect backdrop to conversation over dinner.

Outdoor drinks reception before meal:
A quartet (piano, bass, drums, trumpet) creates a fantastic sound for your outdoor drinks reception and can move inside to play during dinner. Adding an extra musician (e.g. saxophone) adds an extra dimension to the sound and increases the amount of repertoire we can perform.

Cocktail party:
A quintet (piano, bass, drums, sax, vocals) is very versatile and can perform a wide range of jazz standards to keep your guests entertained. This band can even play some more upbeat dancing music later into the evening.
