When you contact Down for the Count (e.g. to enquire about booking an act), we collect basic contact details (name, email address, and telephone number if provided). This data is kept on a password-protected, encrypted email server.
The information is used to communicate with you ahead of an event and to provide customer support. If you book entertainment, we also contact you after your event for feedback. You can opt out of us contacting you at any time by emailing email@example.com.
If you proceed to book entertainment for your event, we collect a name, email address, telephone number and postal address. This information is kept in electronic or paper format and is retained until such time as we feel it is no longer needed, or you notify Down for the Count Ltd that you no longer wish for your data to be stored.
Disclosure of information
Down for the Count Ltd takes great care to prevent unauthorised access to your personal data. All information held is stored in password-protected, encrypted online systems that we continually update. Any paper records we keep are kept securely.
We will not pass your information to any third party unless we have your express written consent to do so.
We operate a Mailing List using MailChimp. Users opt in via a sign-in form on our website, or via a sign-in form on an app at an event. Users can opt out of receiving these emails at any time by clicking the ‘Unsubscribe’ links in all emails, or by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The mailing list is used 1-2 times per month to inform subscribers about upcoming concerts, CD releases, and other news we feel may be of interest. Your information is stored securely and will under no circumstances be shared with any third party unless we have your express written consent.
Subject access requests
You are entitled to be provided with details of the personal information held about you. Requests should be made in writing to email@example.com or the postal address above. You are entitled to receive a readable copy of data held about you free of charge, within one calendar month of your request (please note you will need to provide proof of identification when making the request). If the data held about you is inaccurate you can request to have it amended; you can also request to have your data completely erased.
