See Down for the Count LIVE in December & January
We've got a busy December and January coming up. Not only is our calendar full of private parties, corporate events and wedding receptions (including that of our very own band leader Mike!), we've got several public performances which are a great chance to come and see us live.
At most of our public events we concentrate on swing and big band repertoire - but at two of these gigs, we're also performing our very popular Soul and Motown set. Read on and find out more below!
Sunday 4th December 2016: Sunday Jazz Lunch at Hideaway Streatham
Doors open 12 noon, live music from 2pm ~ Tickets £10 (under 16s free)
On Sunday 4th December, we start the festive celebrations in style with a Sunday Jazz Lunch at Hideaway Streatham. Hideaway is one of the top jazz clubs in the country, and their Sunday concerts are some of our very favourite events to perform at.
You can reserve a table, sit back and enjoy the live music - and also make the most of the excellent, reasonably priced food and drinks on offer. There's also a small dancefloor if you want to burn off the Sunday Roast!
In December we have a special theme - we are celebrating the music of the great swing singers Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong, 60 years after the release of their first Duets album together.
Tickets for this event are £10 and children go free. Find out more here.
