However, for some events you might like to amplify the bands. There are four options available - just get in touch for quotes for each.
- Totally acoustic: no microphones or amps, musicians roam around the venue
- Basic amplification: battery powered amp for vocalist only, musicians roam around venue
- Full amplification: whole band amplified with wired mics, performing in a fixed location
- Wireless application: whole band amplified with wireless mics, enabling musicians to roam
A Christmas Flashmob with Down for the Count's Wondering Musicians
In December 2017 our roaming acoustic band The Vintage Strollers travelled up to Scotland to take part in a wonderfully random flashmob for Cadbury's, organised by the Huffington Post, for Cadbury's "Cadvent" celebrations! Here's the very short finished video:

On each day of advent, Cadbury's wanted to make someone's dream come true - and on a chilly Tuesday in Edinburgh, that person's dream was to start a flashmob.
We travelled up to Scotland with a band of roaming acoustic musicians and singers, and were also accompanied by the local Phoenix Choir.
It was a busy December shopping day in the centre of Edinburgh, when all of a sudden a group of nine roaming acoustic musicians and 15-piece choir launched into Jingle Bells - probably terrifying everyone, although enough people danced along that we don't think they minded!
We did the performance four times, stopping between each show for a very welcome hot chocolate or mulled wine.
We love making weird and unusual things happen - so if you've got a wacky idea for your upcoming corporate promotion or event, get in touch today and see what we can do!
