A memorable afternoon of music and sunshine in Brighton
We had an absolutely fantastic time at Brighton Open Air Theatre last weekend with our All-Stars band. After a week of anxiously checking the weather forecast (which for most of the week was showing solid rain!), we were incredibly grateful to be graced with sunshine and blue skies whilst we performed.
Getting everything set up before the show.
We took to the stage surrounded by a vibrant crowd, and the atmosphere was extremely cheering - as it finally started to feel like summer!
It was great to see so many people in the crowd with their picnics, pizzas and drinks, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who came to join us for an afternoon of live music under the sun.
Showtime!
A brief moment of hilarity ensured when we were informed during the interval (at about 3.20pm) that The Who were about to perform at the nearby Central County Ground - we were a bit worried that they would drown out some of the quieter songs so we quickly shifted the set around. We actually found out that lots of our audience headed over to see The Who after we had finished - so it was a very varied day of live music for those people!
Our singers, Lydia Bell and Marvin Muoneké, hanging out backstage between songs.
We had such a great time in Brighton that we are already eagerly awaiting our performance at the nearby Worthing Assembly Hall this Christmas with our 30-piece Orchestra!
Join us for Swing Into Christmas on Fri 8 Dec for a festive extravaganza filled with heartwarming tunes and Yuletide cheer. We can’t wait to come together once more to celebrate the festive season with music that warms the soul. We look forward to seeing each and every one of you there - don't forget to book your tickets early and secure your spot for a delightful evening of festive music and cheer!
